- 1 whole Idaho raised chicken (4-5 pounds)
- 1 can of Idaho Craft Beer
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F to 400°F).
Remove any giblets or neck from the chicken, and pat it dry with paper towels.
Mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, both inside and out.
Open the beer can and take a few sips to make room for the chicken.
Carefully slide the beer can into the cavity of the chicken, so that the chicken is sitting upright on the can.
Place the chicken on the grill, balancing it on the can and the legs.
Cover the grill and cook the chicken for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the meat.
Carefully remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
Serve the Beer Can Chicken with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables or roasted potatoes.
