Pie-O-Neer Pies Owners Chris and Katie Munro are originally from Queenstown, New Zealand, but moved to Boise, Idaho in February 2018. They realized that the distinctive and amazing taste of meat pies was missing from the market, and they opened Kiwi Shake and Bake in downtown Boise, serving their handmade, quality pies, ice creams, and milkshakes.
Chris and Katie are passionate about the amazing cuisine they’ve brought with them from New Zealand, and they love nothing more than watching the delight on someone’s face as they bite into a meat pie for the first time!
The Munros love the outdoor lifestyle that living in Boise offers, and they enjoy getting out on the water or sitting with friends around the firepit. They are heavily involved in Jet Sprint Racing, a sport that originated in New Zealand, and most weekends in the summer you will find them racing and hanging out with their ‘race family’.
